Confidentiality

We take customer confidentiality extremely seriously. Our working practices are designed to ensure that all client data is gathered, analysed, presented and stored in complete confidentiality. A confidentiality agreement is signed by Finalta at the start of every benchmarking engagement.

The recent acquisition of Finalta by McKinsey & Company does not affect our confidentiality policy. No company-specific data will be shared with McKinsey & Company except with the client’s express consent.

The key elements of our confidentiality code include:

  • The signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement between all parties prior to commencing work.
  • All data is stored on a secure, password protected server with access limited to specific, named Finalta employees.
  • Finalta's research methodology incorporates in-built systems and checks to ensure confidentiality is preserved throughout the benchmarking process.
  • Data is only published to third parties in aggregated form so that the identity of any individual participant cannot be determined.
  • In all benchmarking analysis, there must be a minimum peer group size to preserve anonymity.
  • Best practice sharing is anonymous; practices are presented in such a way that the individual organisation or market cannot be recognised.

Copies of the Confidentiality Code are available to members and potential members. We are also happy to work under our clients’ own non-disclosure agreements.
